Penguin Random House SEA has almost published almost 400 titles to date, and currently publishing about 60-65 titles every year. We publish across all genres (fiction and non-fiction) and categories (e.g. literary fiction, fantasy, romance, contemporary and historical fiction, family sagas, coming-of-age, graphic novels, business, leadership, management, personal development, memoirs, biographies, etc.) for children and adult. Our authors are from all over Southeast Asia, with a substantial proportion from Singapore, and some are even from the larger Asia Pacific region. Our aim is to give a platform to voices from the Southeast Asian region, and all our titles are heavily steeped in the Southeast Asian context, in place, character and story. We bring our authors’ works to a larger audience by distributing titles worldwide. We also bring new audiences for works in local languages by publishing English translations so that language is no longer a barrier, as well as preserve the literary canon of Southeast Asia by publishing the Southeast Asian Classics and Southeast Asian Modern Classics series.
