The Singapore Book Publishers Association (SBPA) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Hoopla Digital and participating Singapore publishers at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026. The signing ceremony will take place on 8 October 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm, at the Singapore Pavilion, Hall 5.1 B67. 

This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening the international visibility of Singapore-published books through digital library platforms. Under the partnership, participating publishers will have the opportunity to make selected titles accessible to libraries and readers across Australia, New Zealand, and North America, significantly broadening the reach of Singapore literature beyond traditional markets. 

By leveraging Hoopla Digital’s extensive library network, the initiative will introduce international audiences to Singapore’s diverse voices, stories, and perspectives, while creating new opportunities for discovery and readership. The partnership also provides a framework for ongoing collaboration between Hoopla Digital and Singapore’s publishing community, supporting the distribution, promotion, and accessibility of Singapore-authored and Singapore-published works worldwide. 

 This milestone reflects the publishing industry’s continued commitment to connecting local content with global audiences and enhancing the international presence of Singapore literature through innovative digital channels.
