Incorporated in 2020, TrendLit Publishing Private Limited (Singapore) stands as a new beacon in Singapore’s literary landscape, emerging as one of the city-state’s most esteemed book publishers – the preferred partner for literary arts, as we are dedicated to enriching the realms of readership and authorship.
The TrendLit family extends beyond publishing. It includes Sea Breeze Books, founded in 2021, an online bookstore offering a carefully curated selection of books on humanities and literature, along with creative and literary merchandise. Another division, Brilliance Design, founded in 2022, serves as the creative arm, specializing in translating the essence of literary works into compelling visual designs and providing product design services that bring enchanting illustrations to life on cultural and creative merchandise.
Ang Jin Yong (b.1991), is the current editor for TrendLit Publishing. His published poetry collection includes Medical Records (2021), and has edited numerous anthologies and works including Never Before—50 Essential Poems, A Long Walk, The Inventors, This Is How We Come Back, etc. In addition, he also played important leading roles in managing several major TrendLit projects, including the company’s merchandising project, with the National Arts Council and “Poems on the MRT”, with Sing Lit Station.
Hew Chin Yi is responsible for marketing at TrendLit Publishing. She oversees the promotion of the company’s publications, literary events and collaborative projects. She also manages branding, communications and audience engagement initiatives. Passionate about connecting readers with Singaporean literature, she continues to support the development and appreciation of local literary culture.
